Reflecting on his journey, Elijah shares, “I grew up watching my father run in Kween. He couldn’t continue due to age and family needs, but his passion inspired me. I soon caught the spirit. Moving From coach to coach, I joined training groups, hoping one day to bring Gold home to my father.”

Carrying this legacy forward, Elijah now channels that same passion into guiding guests on the trails of Kapchorwa, combining his personal journey with the rich running culture of his community.
